
Kathy Levenston is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience supporting adolescents, children, and families across various settings. As the founder and co-owner of Help Your Way, an outpatient and community-based practice in the greater Richmond area, Kathy spent nine years fostering positive change in her community.
Kathy specializes in systems-based treatment, assisting families dealing with challenging behaviors and multi-generational trauma to reach their goals. Her expertise also extends to working with individuals facing substance use disorders, where she has held supervisory roles in substance-use disorder treatment programs.
Committed to a patient-centered approach, Kathy values measurement-based care. She has a background in feedback-informed treatment, which involves actively tracking progress and the therapeutic alliances in real-time, allowing for personalized adjustments that improve outcomes, reduce treatment failures, and enhance service efficiency.
A licensed clinical social worker, Kathy holds a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, complemented by a Master's Degree in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Anthropology from Wesleyan University.
