Michael Cavalcante, Master's of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. I have worked in the behavioral health field for 20+ years. Beginning as a Residential Counselor, Milieu Program Manager, CTRS, Director of Adjunctive Therapy, Staff Education Coordinator, Director of Performance Improvement, and Human Resources Manager. I have worked in Residential, Wilderness and Experiential based Residential, and Acute Psychiatric Hospital settings. I have come to Hallmark from Louisville, Kentucky. I have an amazing wife Jules Cavalcante who has stood by my side for the last 17 years and we currently have two sweet fur babies Brewdus and Boomer. My hobbies are fishing, kayaking, camping, and seeing live music. Fun fact I collect belt buckles and wear different ones often. I am a huge soccer fan and love supporting local teams. I am excited to join this team as the Human Resources Director because of my passion for helping residents in need by supporting the greatest resource we have at Hallmark, our employees.
