Taylor Davis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has dedicated his thirty-year career to serving the field of mental health. He is particularly passionate about caring and advocating for children and adolescents. Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin. During that time, he worked at Austin State Hospital caring for adults with chronic mental illness, at Brown-Karhan Rehabilitation helping individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries, in addition to various group homes where he cared for those with intellectual disabilities.
After earning his master’s in science and social Work (MSSW) at The University of Texas at Austin, Taylor began working for The Brown Schools in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as a Crisis Counselor. He was quickly promoted to Director of Intake, then Director of Chemical Dependency Services, then Director of Business Development, and eventually Chief Operating Officer (COO)/Interim Chief Operating Officer (CEO). During the Brown Schools acquisition by Psychiatric Solutions Inc. (later acquired by Universal Health Services Inc.), Taylor was asked to provide executive leadership for new acquisitions across the country thereby leading him to the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2006. He was a longtime CEO in Staunton, Virginia, before becoming a Floating CEO responsible for interim leadership for hospitals across the east coast.
As an experienced behavioral healthcare executive for more than twenty years, Taylor is a unifier who not only builds exceptional relationships with regulatory and accreditation bodies but also with his team members at all organizational levels. He is a forward thinker and results driven with compassion and a unique understanding of all positions required to move a company to the next level.
