Clinical Programs

Assessment and Diagnostic Services/Emergency Placement
The purpose of this program is to evaluate patients for appropriate placement services. The Assessment Phase is completed within 7-10 days of admission to Hallmark Youthcare. This phase includes:

  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Nursing Assessment/Complete health and physical
  • Psychological Assessment
  • Psychosocial Assessment
  • Educational Assessment
  • Activity therapy Assessment

In some cases:

  • Chemical Dependency
  • Survivor's Assessment
  • Nutritional Assessment if indicated after initial dietary screening.

*Assessment and Diagnostic Services are not covered by Medicaid.

If determined necessary for diagnostic purposes, or if requested by the referring agency, further diagnostic testing could be performed, including but not limited to: Educational testing, Neurological, Neuro-psychological, Psychological, and other Medical/Psychiatric diagnostic testing. These tests could extend the time of stay for up to thirty days.
