Admissions

All adolescents accepted to our program must meet the following criteria:

• Be between the ages of 11 and 17; TSAY 12-17
• Not currently be a danger to themselves or others;
• Need a secure setting to evaluate or address behavioral, social, emotional, and
  psychological issues.

Referral and Admission Process

Contact our Admissions office for more information at 804-784-6432 or 1-800-966-4RTC(4782) during regular business hours. However, the facility is equipped and prepared to accept emergency placements outside of normal business hours.

To make a referral, please fill out the information requested on the RTC Referral Form and fax to (804) 784-5261 or mail the necessary documentation to

Once we receive this information, we will call you to confirm receipt. The clinical team will then review the packet within 24 to 48 hours, and will call to request more information, set up an interview, recommend admission to Hallmark Youthcare, or recommend another appropriate placement.
