History
Hallmark originated in 1976, established as an RTC/Special Education Program under the direction of William Lordi, M.D. from the Lor-Berg Family Guidance Clinic. Originally located in the Highland Park area of Richmond, the program expanded to 50 beds in 1992 and moved to a park-like setting in Goochland in 1994. Purchased by Hallmark Systems in April 1995, Hallmark Youthcare expanded its adolescent residential treatment and assessment and diagnostic services to our current bed capacity of 84.

Located in the far West End of Richmond, our Residential Treatment Program is committed to providing the highest quality care in the most cost-effective program available. We believe that providing adolescents with a safe, secure, and well-structured environment helps our residents learn to build trust and healthy relationships with others.
